Keeping kids safe in the sun

With summer on our doorstep I’ve been a bit late to the party at getting us beach ready and had a mild panic attack now that the sprinkler parks are open in Westchester as my son has outgrown all his swimwear.

We have sunscreen from a trip to South Africa which I’m not entirely sure if it is on the safe list of recommended sunscreens, but growing up in the heat of South Africa I can safely say it keeps the little ones skins safe and free of burns.

What I have been looking for is swimwear, especially the rash guards and shorts that contain built in UPF protection, so I was overjoyed when my favorite British brand JoJo Maman Bébé, which launched in the US recently is now selling their children and babies swimwear online! The range includes funky sun suits in sizes zero – six years, with matching sunhats, all with the much needed built in UPF 50+ protection, so you won’t need to worry about keeping your little ones in the shade.

They also have baby sunglasses available for newborn babies, and sun suits and hats start from zero-three months.

The wonderful team at JoJo Maman Bébé have offered one lucky reader a swimwear outfit up to the value of $60. All you have to do is email with the subject header JoJo and your contact details. One lucky reader will be contacted on June 21 and their prize sent to them.
