The annual Yorktown Heights Fireman's Carnival, set for June 20-24 at the main fire station, is sure to be a good time for a good cause.
Carnival-goers can enjoy a parade, favorite fair food, midway games and rides for all ages, from kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides, while showing support for Yorktown Heights' 108-year-old all-volunteer fire company.
There is no charge for carnival admission and parking. Unlimited ride wristbands are $25 Wednesday - Thursday and $30 Friday - Sunday. Ride tickets are also available onsite for $1.50 each, $25 for 20 tickets, or $50 for 50 tickets plus 1 free ride. Rides take 3 or more tickets each.
The Fireman's Parade will roll at 7 pm Wednesday. Carnival hours are 7 to 11 pm Wednesday, 6 to 11 pm Thursday - Friday, noon to 11 pm Saturday, and noon to 9 pm Sunday at the YHFD Station 1 headquarters at 1916 Commerce Street.
