Exploring Play

  • Westchester Childrens Museum 100 Playland Parkway Rye, NY, 10580 United States (map)

🌷Its Springtime and Everything is Growing!🌷
After our story “The Tiny Seed” by Eric Carle, we will sing a song and do a finger play about growing. We will explore and learn about new words – soil, root, stem, petal and identify them on our felt board.  Finally we will plant our own tiny seeds and take them home to watch them grow!

Exploring Play, held every Friday morning, is designed for children ages 2 to 4. Each month features a new theme brought to life for young children through creative and fun movement activities; song; story and a take home project for all.

Parents and caregivers are provided with information on the latest developments in Play research for young children. Come join the fun!
