This year marks the 13th Annual Go the Distance Walk and Family Fun Day, the largest annual fundraiser for Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. More than 3,000 participants are expected.
Walk the casual one-mile route and enjoy entertainment and family activities such as Face Painting, Bounce Houses, Crafts, Carnival Games, The Bubble Bus, Character Appearances and more. Form a team or go solo. Generously donated snacks include bagels, fruit and muffins.
Registration takes place 8:30am-9:30am, and the walk and activities are from 9:30am to 12pm.
Since 2004, the hospital has provided lifesaving and life-changing care to more than 150,000 of the region's most seriously ill and injured children.
Strollers are permitted, but pets are not allowed.
