Valentine’s Day fun for baby

Hi everyone! Now that I have a son, Valentine’s Day has taken on a whole new meaning. I can’t wait until he’s old enough for his Oedipus complex to kick in and for me to ruin him for all other women. Just kidding…sort of! This week we have a selection of fun and mostly free Valentine’s-themed events for the kiddos, and a raffle for you!

DRYBAR GOODIE BAG RAFFLE

I don’t remember the last time I had a date night, but if I did I’d love to visit a salon for a fancy blowout. Lucky for me, Drybar is opening soon in White Plains. If you’re not familiar with Drybar, they offer professional wash and blowouts at a flat price, regardless of hair length or thickness. You can book online at their website, the Drybar iPhone app, or phone. Click here for more info.

For those of you who want to recreate a blowout at home, you can enter for your chance to win a goodie bag, filled with great hair care products from Drybar such as:

The Drybar Guide To Good Hair For All: The ultimate handbook for at-home hairstyling from Drybar founder Alli Webb. Alli shares her tried-and-true tips and tricks in three in-depth sections featuring more than 100 style-inspiration photographs and step-by–step tutorials for a good hair day at home.

Velvet Hammer: Smooths thick, coarse and highly textured hair. Provides soft hold. Moisture-rich formula hydrates dry strands, creating soft, shiny styles. Fights frizz and controls fly-aways on hard-to-tame hair.

Sparkling Soda: Instantly creates a lightweight high-gloss finish. Calms fly-aways, static and frizz. Contains UV absorbers to prevent color fading. Imparts softness and sheen without weighing hair down.

To enter, send an email with your full name and hometown by Sunday, February 12 to babygotchat.contact@gmail.com.
