Muscoot Farm

The purpose of Muscoot Farm is to preserve and interpret for the public benefit the agricultural, cultural and natural heritage of a Westchester County Farm circa 1880 - 1930.

Various sheds show how farming was back in this era with old milk pales and even an ice shed.

The farm has pigs, chickens, geese, turkeys, cows, sheep and goats but is not a petting farm and they kindly request animals are not fed or petted.

It has lawned areas and picnic tables where you can sit in the shade and eat from the nearby cafe or bring your own food.

The paths round the fields are easy to navigate which even a city type stroller can navigate. However, there are more than 7 miles of hiking trails to explore which I assume are not suited for strollers.

Open 10am - 4pm daily with a Farmers Market (until Nov 22) on Sundays as well as Hay Rides (weather permitting).

Events and exhibitions are:

Grandparent's Day - September 13
